He is survived by: his children, Adam Batiste (Cynthia), Wilfred Batiste, Isaac Batiste (Ann), Stanley Batiste, Jr. (Genita), Ernest Batiste, Oliver Batiste (Catalina), Elizabeth Sharlow (Timothy), Gail Allen (Fredrick), Kelly Dugas (Kevin) and Vallery Batiste; his siblings, Harold Batiste, Evelyn Duhon and Rosita Adams (Joseph); and his wife Marie Lydia Duhon Batiste. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
