It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shane John Higginbotham of Carencro, Louisiana, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Higginbotham and Mary Ann Comeaux; his sister Annette Faul; and his grandparents, Jack, Marie Higginbotham, Anna, Ceasar Comeaux and Carl Menard.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Lynn Higginbotham; his children, Shane A. Higginbotham, Chance M. Higginbotham (Whitney), Chase Higginbotham and Jamie Lynn Thibodeaux; his grandchild Truett Michael Higginbotham; and his siblings, Glenn J. Higginbotham (Cindy), Sarah Ann Richard (Oveil, Jr.) and Kathy Menard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
