He was predeceased by: his father Gerald L. Savoie; and his stepfather Russell Romero. He is survived by: his son Blake Savoie of Lafayette; his stepdaughters, Rachael Hartzog (Nathan) of Houston, TX and Virginia Mills (Kevin Yabut) of Lafayette; his mother Gloria Romero of Carencro; his sister Karen Guidry (Anthony) of Carencro; his nephew Jason Guidry (Ashley) of Carencro; his niece Julie G. White (Michael) of Lafayette; his close friend Patty Bellard of Carencro; his cousins, Gisele Benoit, Sonya Pointer, Janet Guidry and Connie Roy; and his friends, Jim Pointer and Travis Prejean.
