She was predeceased by: her grandson Jared Cormier; her parents, Bertha Miller and Lenus Miller; her aunt Andrea Babineaux; and her daughter-in-law Lois Cormier.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Cormier (Brunella Cormier) of Scott, Ron Cormier of Carencro and Shelton Cormier of Carencro; and her grandchildren, Penny Gennuso (Kenny), Dana Cormier (Lesa), Nicky Richard (Danny), Damon Cormier (Tonia), Tonya Leon (Keith), Brent Cormier (Lacy), Ronnie Cormier (Nikki), Mandy Cormier and Cody Cormier. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, 22 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Walters Funeral Home (2424 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St John Berchmans Church (552 Main St, Cankton, LA 70584). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
