He is survived by: his wife Marlene Atkins-Colbert; his sisters, Patricia Colbert-Cormier of Lafayette and Ora Katherine Mouton of Las Vegas, Nevada; his children, Ashley Nicole Colbert, Tamira Lynette Colbert, Charles William Colbert, III (Marian), Ira Edward "Flute" Valore, Larry Joseph Collins (Amelia), Michael "Timmy" Pierre and Judge Royal "Peanut" Colbert, Jr. (Elaine); his goddaughter Dolores "Dee Dee" Cormier-Zenon; his nephews, Jason L. Cormier of Las Vegas, John C. Cormier of Las Vegas, Randolph Mouton (Randy) of Las Vegas, Ricardo Mouton of Las Vegas and Charles "CJ" Colbert; and his grandchildren, Trendon Colbert, Trendell Colbert, Jarell Colbert, Jacolby Colbert, Ashanta Colbert, Trenchella Colbert, Aubrey Colbert, Zanya Colbert, Zavian Colbert, Zalayah Colbert, Terry Henry, Terrance Henry, Joshua Colbert and Garrett Sweet.
