She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Godeaux and Virginia Bertrand Godeaux; her grandparents, Electa and Charles Augusta Bertrand; and her siblings, Charles Godeaux, Donald Godeaux and Yvonne Bertrand.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jay McCauley, Mary B. Waguespack (Nelson) and Peggy Thibodeaux.
Due to the Covid 19 mandated gathering restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Prairie Ronde for Rita Mae Godeaux.
