He is survived by: his children, Juanita Menard (John D.) of Arnaudville, Melissa Matte (James) of Richard, Tina Chiasson (Terry) of Lafayette, Nicole Dearman (Daniel) of Carencro, William James Denais of Richard, Blake John Denais of Richard, Steven Paul Denais of Opelousas and Nicholas Denais of Richard; his sister Mae Doris Broussard of Maurice; and his grandchildren, Alexson Denais, Carrie Hoffpauir, Jason Menard, Regan Denais, Clint Matte, Logan Matte, Karson Matte, Tanya Leblanc, Tamra Bourque, Tasha Binder, Tyler Chiasson, Cameron Dearman, Amber Dearman, Hunner Denais and Rhilyn Denais. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
