He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bill Brasseaux and Hazel Guilbeaux Brasseaux; his wife Catherine Arceneaux Brasseaux; and his children, Blayne Louis Brasseaux and Katie Louise Brasseaux.
He is survived by: his brother Glenn; his sister-in-law Nannette Brasseaux; his nephews, Mark Brasseaux (Christy), Wayne Brasseaux (Yevette) and Andre Brasseaux (Jennifer); and his sister-in-law Christine Mouton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (102 N Church St, Carencro, LA 70520).
