He was predeceased by: his wife Lana Sonnier Babineaux; his brother Keith J. Babineaux; his father Percy J. Babineaux, Sr.; his grandparents, Faustin, Orelia Vasseur Daville, Verdie "Brigg" and Louisa Babineaux; and his cousins, Ray Taylor and Randall Taylor.
He is survived by: his pet Bootsie; his daughter Chelsea Babineaux Diaz (Anthony) of Kenner; his grandsons, Aiden and Austin Diaz; his mother Martha L. Castille of Opelousas; and his siblings, Cathalene Babineaux of Carencro, Avis Babineaux Stakes (Al) of Marshall, TX, Debra Babineaux Berthelotte of Breaux Bridge, Dorris J. Castille, Jr. of Marrero, Karen Laviolette (Roger), Kevin Babineaux, Scott Babineaux and Kim Babineaux. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
