He was predeceased by: his children, Markinnee B. Ortego and Vaughn D. Boutin; his son-in-law Michael Todd Broussard; his grandson Jared Michael Broussard; his parents, Anthony Boutin and Lettie Boutin; and his siblings, Preston Boutin and Louella Arabie.
He is survived by: his wife Earlene Faul Boutin; his daughter Dawn B. Broussard; his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Broussard, Arielle B. Coldren (Tim) and Annie Boutin; his great grandchild Emma Coldren; and his sister Sandra Garber. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (102 N Church St, Carencro, LA 70520).
