She is survived by: her husband Johnny Helaire; her children, Johnny C. Helaire and Falicity Helaire Harris (Marcus); her brothers, Theodule Tauriac (Cynthia) and Charles Tauriac; her brother-in-law Roy Broussard; her grandchildren, Favian Helaire, Isaiah Helaire, Payton Helaire, Ja-Naja Helaire, Ja-Miri Helaire, Johnae Helaire and Dre Brown; and her great grandchildren, Nia Helaire and Kylan Helaire.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
