She was predeceased by: her husband John D. Matt; her sons, Glenn Ray Matt and Robert Dale Matt; her parents, Alcee Broussard and Philonese Guidry; her great grandchild Jesse Bourque; and her siblings, Cleston Broussard, Austin Broussard, Herbert "Black" Broussard and Rita Roger.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Phyl Bullock, Jerry Dale Matt Sonnier (Russhell), Gerald Sonnier (Lizzie), Andrea, Hoffpauir (Jason) and Lauren Veronie Richard; and her great grandchild James Chesley "J. C.". She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
