She was predeceased by: her husband Alphe J. Guilbeau; her parents, Volgan Richard and Erise Cormier; her siblings, Emile Richard, L. J. Toussaint Richard and Ruby Richard; and her niece Barbara Seaux Stout. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
