She was predeceased by: her husband Gervin Gregory Tweedel; her parents, Hilda Douget and Elton Douget; and her brother Leoren Douget. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Guidry (David) of Carencro, Susan Askery (Billy) of Houston, Tex., Michael Tweedel (Laura) of Tampa, Fla. and James Tweedel of Atlanta; and her siblings, Goldie Guidry of Baton Rouge, Patrick Douget of Mire and Darrel Douget of Church Point. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
