He is survived by: his wife Angela Cormier Fontenot of Carencro; his children, Holly Fontenot Palombo (Doug) of Lafayette, Michael Keith Fontenot, Jr. of Kearny, Nicholas Jake Fontenot of Carencro and Candie Fontenot Sutherland (Clayton) of Houston; his stepchildren, Nickolas Morvant of Breaux Bridge, Dylan Morvant of Opelousas and Charisse Morvant of Clarksville, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Alexis Fontenot, Audrey Palombo, Adele Palombo, Henri Sutherland, Ellis Sutherland and Truitt Sutherland; his stepgrandchildren, Mary Louise Morvant, Adalyn, Evariste Morvant, Amos Morant, Daylon Venable, Allyssa Venable, Gaylon Venable and Casper Venable; and his sisters, Pamela Fontenot of Opelousas and Shelley Richard (Matt) of Sunset. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
