He is survived by: his son Carson David Taylor; the mother of his child Amy Kidder Taylor; his siblings, Sam Taylor, Jr. of Ville Platte, Scott Taylor of Sunset, Christine Taylor-Poitier (John) of Houston, TX and Sonia Taylor of Lafayette; and his godchildren, McKenzie Collins and Kai Carmouche. He is also survived by three nieces; and four nephews.
