She was predeceased by: her son Darrin Chris Hanks; her parents, John Richard and Ida Myers; and her sisters, Electa LeBlanc, Ethel Daigle and Lucy Caillier.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Allen Hanks of Carencro; her children, Dwania McGee (Byron) and Dickey Chad Hanks; her grandchildren, Chad Appleby, Justin McGee, Emily Hanks, Sara McGee, Hallie Hanks and Hunter Hanks; and her sisters, Mildred Hebert and Mable Louvierre.
