With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Earl Comeaux of Carencro, Louisiana, who passed away on November 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Joseph Comeaux and Sarah Conque Comeaux; his sisters, Betty David and Nelda Travis; his brothers-in-law, Neil David and Ned Travis; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Lanell Potier Comeaux of Carencro; his children, Mandy Fisher of Carencro, Scott Comeaux (Carmen) of Lafayette, Dave Comeaux (Susan), Kay Crane of Eatonton and Laurie Comeaux (Byron Smith) of Austin, Texas; his sister Sarah Clavelle of Carencro; his grandchildren, Adam Fisher (Ellen), Emily Stanley (Justin Pettit), Maggie Reed (Joshua), Phillip Fisher, Tatiana Comeaux, Daniel Comeaux (Philip Crean), Rachel Comeaux (Jonathan Olivier), Josie Ver Steeg (Paul), Emma Blackwood and Iris Blackwood; his great grandchildren, Leon, Amos, Isaac, Oscar, Toby, Eva, Olivia, Jayde, Ralph, Hugh-David, Mary-Nell and Rose-Mae; his siblings-in-law, Felix Potier (Juanita) and Denise Copeland (Jack); and his grandsons, Ruslan Comeaux, Adrian Crane and Cameron Crane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
