She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Ann Garcia; her grandparents, Wallace S. Broussard and Elizabeth "Bessie" Broussard; and her godson Michael Jason Broussard. She is survived by: her close friend Ambrose Johnson; her children, Michael C. Garcia (Danni), Summer D. Thibodeaux (Jessie), Elizabeth A. Garcia, Erin Garcia and Jessica Taylor; her grandson John Garcia; her sister Ann Garcia Dafford; and her niece Rachel A. Dafford.
