It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Mae Bourgeois (Carencro, Louisiana), born in Chataignier, Louisiana, who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Armand Bourgeois; her parents, Mayance Berzas and Agnes Brown; her brother Wilbert Berzas; her great grandchild Lacy Strahan; and her sisters, Hazel Brown, Betty Brasseaux and Bernice Lavergne.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Bourgeois (Pansy) of Carencro, James A. Bourgeois (Judy) of Madisonville, Donald Bourgeois (Gwen) of Baton Rouge and Christine Prejean (Tommy) of Lake Arthur. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
Due to the restrictions of the current COVID-19 pandemic limiting gatherings to 10 or fewer family members, a private service will be held for immediate family only.
