He is survived by: his children, LaKesha Johnson Darjean, James Jr., Troy and Ryan Johnson; his siblings, Earldean Arvie (Roger), Mary Ann Clay (John Sr.), Connie Moore (Lester) and Elias Johnson, Sr. (Lynder); his grandchildren, Roshell Jr. (Reggie Sparrow), Dontae, Jada Darjean, Alajhia, James III, Jaylon, Jermori, Troy Jr., Tristin and Khloe Johnson; his great grandchildren, Rhemi and Royal Darjean; his brother-in-law Cornelius Arnold, Jr.; his close friend Richard Isidore; and his children, Dolonel "Taj" Johnson and Shauna Johnson Clark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
