With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hedy Marie Taylor (Carencro, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Taylor and Thelma Beaugh Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Troy Gene Cormier (Camille), Jason Paul Cormier, Chad James Cormier, Angela Marie Lipscomb (Ken) and Dana Lyn Cormier; her siblings, Alex "Sonny" Taylor (Cathy), Jaynell Taylor Henry, Vicki Taylor Brignac (Steve) and Jessica Taylor; and her grandchildren, Aaron Cormier, Allen Lipscomb, Evan Lipscomb, Ethan Lipscomb, Kayla Marcantel, Karli Reed, Ty Cormier, Hannah Cormier, Nicholas Cormier, Lauren McCann and Matthew Cormier. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
