He was predeceased by: his parents, U. L. Bordelon and Victoria Lachney Rabalais; and his brother Robert Dauzat. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cay Dauzat of Carencro; his daughters, Tabitha D. Hebert (William) of Carencro and Hillary D. Hobbs (Chris) of Pineville; his siblings, Gerald Dauzat (Rosa) of Gonzales, Ulyess Bordelon of Marksville, Cecil Bordelon (Pat) of Mansura and Freida B. Dauzat (Ronald) of Cottonport; and his grandsons, Levi and Atlas Hebert.
