He is survived by: his wife Margaret Cormier Brasseaux of Carencro; his granddaughter Kiarra Nichole Cheatum; his son-in-law Izele Cheatum of Bay City, FL; his siblings, John Ray Brasseaux of Lafayette and Mary Brasseaux St. Amant of Cade; his half-siblings, Charles Ray Brasseaux (Melissa) of Washington and Debbie Thompson Garrett (David) of Llano, TX; and his godmother Theresa Myers.
