He was predeceased by: his wife Lorena Babineaux Meche; his parents, Gilbert Meche and Rosella Comeaux Meche; and his siblings, Zulma, Creighton, Ezor, Elric, Anna Joyce, Mary, Hubert, Kermit, Charles "Jim", Nell Rose and Thelma.

He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Meche of Katy, TX and Arlene Meche Sowards (Dano) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Dustin Paul Graham of Houston, TX, Whitney Alexis Ramsden (Clay) of Houston, TX and Lindsay Graham of Houston, TX; his great grandchildren, Kylee Renee Graham of Houston, TX, Elijah Parker Tracy of Houston, TX, Griffin David Ramsden of Houston, TX and Ezra Michael Tracy of Houston, TX; and his siblings, Fred Meche (Linda) of Scott and Margaret LeBlanc of Carencro. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
