It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Sion of Carencro, Louisiana, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Sion and Gilbert Sion, Sr.; his grandparents, Ashton and Elvina Alexander Sion; his nephew Shawn Sion; and his brother-in-law Timothy Boudreaux.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Sion of Carencro, Marcus Sion (McKenzie) of Carencro, Sherelle Pickney (Travis) of Carencro, Donavon Sion (Nicole) of Carencro, Angelle Arceneaux (Donavan) of Carencro and Diamond Burks of Desoto, Texas; his former wife Lela Sion; his grandchildren, Xaviera McCray, Mariyah Sion, Traylon Sion, Karmindi Phillips, Karminei Sion, Raylan Malveaux, Kaylon Sion, Londyn Pickney, Ayla Young, Sajel Arceneaux, Benjamin Young Jr., Kaydyn Sion, Kourtney Sion, Trayden Pickney, Brenden Young, Travis Pickney Jr., Kinzley Sion and Donavon Arceneaux Jr.; his siblings, Gilbert Jr. Sion (Madeline), Charles Sion (Verna), David Sion, Ashton Sion, Lillie Boudreaux, Joyce Celestine (Ramano), Ronald Sion of Dallas Texas, Elvina Lewis (Gabriel), Paul Sion of Grand Rapides, Jessie Sion (Enola) and Espinola Sion; and his goddaughter Deidra Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
