She is survived by: her children, Lisa Payne Grice (Nolan) of The Woodlands, TX, Rachel Payne-Brown (Andrew) of Houston, TX, Dwight Payne (Torrie) of Baton Rouge, LA and Shawn Payne of Carencro, LA; her grandchildren, Michaela Sias Richard (Alexander) of Spring, TX, Sydney Sias McClelland (Christopher) of Spring, TX and Shanea Payne of Carencro, LA; her great grandchildren, Gabrielle Richard, Gabriel Richard, Micah Richard and Grace McClelland; and her siblings, Margaret Broussard of Carencro, LA, Laura Broussard of Carencro, LA, Leona Breaux of Lafayette, LA and Leo Breaux (Phyllis) of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 7:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (410 N Michaud St, Carencro, LA 70520).
