He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fontenot and Lillia Mae Fontenot of Prairie Ronde, Louisiana.; and his brother Ray Fontenot. He is survived by: his wife Belva; his children, Karl (Alisa Fontenot), Kent (Roxie Fontenot), Paula (Brady Frederick), Scott Fontenot, Kelly (Jeff Spence) and Burt (Ginger Fontenot); his grandchildren, Cody, Lauren, Kaylie, Candace (Chris), Andy (Anne), Clint, Victoria, Rebecca (Sam), Charlie, Harlan, Abigail, Geoffrey and Gabrielle; and his great grandchildren, Christian, Ruth, Genevieve and Mikey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
