He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Bernard Talley; his parents, Cleveland Talley and Estelle Latiolais; and his siblings, Calvin Talley, Mervin Talley Sr. and Rosey Vicknair.
He is survived by: his children, Vivian Montet (Robert), Mitchell Talley and Denise Primeaux (Karl); his grandchildren, Robyn Landry (Tyler) and Dexter Montet (Amber); his great grandchildren, Luke Landry, Lane Landry, Lilly Landry, Levi Landry, Landen Landry, Kaylee Montet, Mason Montet and Walker Montet; his sister Julia "Jo-Jo" Blanchard (James); and his brother-in-law J. Roy Bernard (Anna Lou).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
