He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoine Landry and Rose Noel Landry; his wife Andrea Menard Landry; his son Russell Bernard; his siblings, Remy Landry, Willis Landry, Wilson Landry, Wilbert Landry, Dalton Landry and Rita Landry; and his daughter-in-law Edna Bernard.
He is survived by: his sons, John Albert Landry, Jr. (Vickie Landry) of Carencro, Steve Jude Landry (Alice Landry) of Carencro and Harry Bernard of Carencro; his brothers, Harry Lee Landry of Breaux Bridge, Joe Nelson Landry of Breaux Bridge and Clayton "Wink" Landry of Virginia; his grandchildren, Ashley Marie Landry Latiolais (Jude Latiolais), Nicole Eucharist Landry (Troy Johnson), Lacey Landry, Johnathan Venable, Jeanette Bernard, Harry Lee, Bernard, Jr. (Lisa Bernard), Cindy Credeur (Junior), Brian Bernard (Barbara) and Angela Bernard; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Bernard of Scott. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
