She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Bourque and Agnes Hebert; her husband Bonton Mayes; her son Ralph Mayes; her grandson Blaine Reaux, Jr.; and her great grandchild Dominic Duplantis.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Stauffer (Scott), Gwendolyn Riddick, Cindy Triche (Warren) and Vickie Guidry (Nick); and her sisters, Mary Castille and Gladys Coy (Fred). She is also survived by wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
