He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Venable of Cankton; his stepchildren, Danika Spell of Cankton and Misty Spell of Opelousas; his siblings, Lisa Venable (Sandra Langley) of Church Point, Jo Ann Venable of Church Point, Dwayne Venable (Mindy) of Scott, Shane Venable (Dodie) of Carencro, Brian Venable (B. J.) of Minnesota and Joshua Venable of Mire; his father-in-law Louis "Paw" Lavergne of Church Point; his pet Turbo; and his mother-in-law Mary Cormier. He is also survived by ten step grandchildren; one step great grandchild.
