He is survived by: his wife Sallie Carter; his children, Pamela Faye Davis (Lee) of Lafayette, Cynthia Renee Guidry (Joseph) of Houston, Jacquelyn Carter of Duson, Marjoria Trailer (Mark) of Carencro, Stephanie Carter of Lafayette, Kenneth Carter (Natalie) of Rayne and Ernest Titus Carter (Juanita) of Cecilia; and his siblings, Georgia Anna Harmon, Levertia Guidry-Noel, Rose Lee Broussard, Mary Lee Sion, Willie Carter, Joseph Carter and August Carter. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren and adoptive grandchildren.
