With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Gill of Campti, Louisiana, who passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Max; her sons, Philip Lawrence, William Roger and Lawrence McCorkle; and her parents, Philip Chamberlin and Ruby Chamberlin.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Marshall Chamberlin and Rose Alicia Prudhomme of Rambin; her sister-in-law Patsy Chamberlin of Carmel; her children, Mary Ligon (Bill) of Toledo Bend, Rita Lemoine (Curtis) of Decatur, Richard Gill (Lynnel) of Natchitoches, Francis Gill of Campti and Therese Fonrouge (Richard) of Hollywood; and her grandchildren, Philip, Alicia Fernbaugh, John Charles Lee, Katherine Lemoine, Erin Carnline, Susan McCart, Lydia Nauck, Lenée, Mary Frances, William Gill, Allison, Anne Marie, Gabrielle Fonrouge and Michael Gill. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
