He is survived by: his wife Sarah Porter; his children, Carlton, Larry, George, Cecil, Daniel, Charlotte and Amanda; and his siblings, Douglas, Anita, Winnie, Mary Nell and Betty. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; along with 30 great grandchildren.
