He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Kershaw and Ida Edith LaVergne Kershaw; his grandparents, Ulysse LaVergne and Julia Prudhomme LaVergne Hebert; his stepgrandfather Alvin Hebert; his brother Curtis Ray Kershaw; his godson Timothy W. Trahan; his friend Lee Hamilton; his godchildren, Lindsey Savoie, Kari Hamilton Finch and Vivian Saltzman; and his grandsons, Mason Aultman, Kody Aultman and Arthur J. Brandt. He was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren, along with numerous cousins and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the St. Nicholas Center for Children or the McNeese Foundation.
