It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora Lee Carter of Calvin, Louisiana, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, G. B. Carter and Linnie Carpenter Carter; her brother Garlon Lee Carter (Bud); and her grandparents, Luther, Mary Collins Carpenter, David F. (Seed) and Elizabeth Chandler Carter (Betty).
She is survived by: her aunt Mary Lou Carpenter; her sister-in-law Kathy Carter; her nieces, Robbin Willis (Alan) and Lisa Haymon (James); her nephew Jamie Carter (Cristy); her great-nephews, Austin Willis (Katy), Tyler Haymon (Nicole), Matthew Haymon, John David Huckaby and Wayne Curtis Huckaby; her friend Vickie Kelley; and also, Gus Haymon, Jake Haymon, Harper Willis and Graysen Willis.
