She is survived by: her children, Diane Gilbert of Calvin, Donna Bates (Larry) of Winnfield, Darlene Gilbert of Columbia and Don Gilbert, Jr. (Debbie) of Coushatta; her sister Helen Weaver of Shreveport; and her grandchildren, Darla Gill, Ryan Bates (Erin) of Stonewall, Jania Bascoe (Nathan), Chase Walsworth of Bienville, Whitney Robinson (Colvin), Beth Giddings (Trey) of Coushatta, Caitlin Whisonant (Kyle) of Chatham, Chelsea Boykin of New Orleans and Mallory Gilbert of Coushatta. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
