It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Canerday of Calvin, Louisiana, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Gerthea Canerday; his siblings, Carolyn Sue Canerday and Johnny Canerday; and his great grandchild Amari Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Canerday; his children, Kim Canerday, Tammy Martin (Todd), Kathy Canerday and Tim Canerday; his grandchildren, Nikki Stanford (Blaine) of Lake Charles, Renae Savell of Natchitoches, Jeffrey Savell (Stevie) of Olympia, Logan Durbin of Winnfield, Meagan Martin of Calvin, Matthew Martin (Caitlyn) of Shreveport, Zoey Canerday of Winnfield and Michael Stroud of Pineville; and his great grandchildren, Gage Savell, Gypsy Lynn Savell, Evie Martin, Bethany Stanford and Denver Martin. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
