He is survived by: his wife Lessie Mae Bryant Carpenter; his children, Robin Hailey (David), Troy Carpenter (Dawn) and Rance Carpenter (Julie); his sisters, Jo Evelyn Evans (Mack) and Shirley Mixon (Jep); and his grandchildren, Tifany Vickers (Brandt), Hanah Griffin (Brian), Cody Carpenter, Jordan Carpenter, Bethany Gunter (Dray) and Madelynn Carter (Dakota). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
