It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Sims (Calhoun, Louisiana), who passed away on January 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband W. Z. Sims; her sons, David Timothy "Timmy" Sims, Robert Larry Sims and Micheal Wayne Sims; her granddaughter Natalie Bentz Lenard; and her parents, Claude Warren and Daisy Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Murphy (Charles), Randy Sims (Gloria), Debbie Waldroup (Ken), Gary Sims (Renea) and Dewanna Hutto; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Sims. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
