She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Varnell and Nellie Varnell; her sister Linda Stephens; her brother-in-law Raymond Stephens; her brothers, Dallas Ray Varnell and Ken Varnell; her parents-in-law, Floyd Johnston and Ruby "Buie" Johnston; her daughter-in-law Lisa Gail Johnston; her husband Julian B. Johnston; and her children, Rebecca Suzanne Moore (James, Jr.), Julian B. "Sam" Johnston, Jr. (Sherri) and Roger Johnston.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Laura Johnston Brown (Blake), Luke Johnston (Sara), James "Jimmy" Moore III (Sarah), Megan Moore Brooks (Scott), Sarah Kay Johnston, Wyatt Johnston and Hope Johnston; and her great grandchildren, Darcy Brown, Jase Johnston, Audrey Moore, Riley Johnston, Jeremiah Johnston, Wesley Moore, Jackson Johnston, Lincoln Johnston and Dani Lee Brown.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Calhoun (2981 US-80, Calhoun, LA 71225). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
