With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronnie Arthur Collie (Calhoun, Louisiana), who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Collie and Frances Collie; and his grandparents, Mattie Jones, Arthur Bryan, Lawrence and Ellen Collie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deidre Avant (David) and Daphne Turlington; the mother of his children Iva "Cookie" Collie Haynes; and his siblings, Terry Collie (Patricia), Diann McPherson, Nellie Littleton, Patsy Taylor (Byron) and Pamela Holloway (Benoit, Jr). He is also survived by four granddaughters, one great grandson, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association in his memory.
