With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Steven Wimberley (Calhoun, Louisiana), who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 66. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Steven Wimberley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Sonny" Wimberley Sr. and Peggy Wimberley; and his brother James "Jay" Wimberley. He is survived by: his wife Janie Wimberley; his children, Felicia Plybon (Chris), Dana Minyard, Misty Davis (Charles), Bobby Hood, Stefanie Savage (Tommy) and Whitney Watkins (Johnny); his siblings, Bill Wimberley (Maggie), Frank Wimberley (Sue), Lori Dickens (Kenny) and Bryan Wimberley; and his close friend Jimmie Durrant. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Amazing Grace Worship Center (2594 LA-15, Calhoun, LA 71225). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
