Lois Ellen Maxwell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Ellen Maxwell of Calhoun, Louisiana, born in Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Segers and Lois Segers; her husband Dr. Willie Maxwell Jr.; her brother Avery Segers Jr.; and her son Dr. Rick Maxwell.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Ann Huggins (Mark) of Calhoun, LA, David Daniel (Shannon Sands), Ronn Maxwell (Cindy) of Santa Rosa, FL and Beanie Maxwell of Natchez, MS; and her grandchildren, Destin Piercy (Samantha), Will Maxwell, Dillon Piercy (Jansen), Margaret Feldman (Doug), Cambryn Tucker and Matthieu Hatfield. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Laird Funeral Home (408 N Union St, Natchez, MS 39120). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (106 Morgantown Rd, Natchez, MS 39120).
