It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dennis Morgan of Calhoun, Louisiana, born in Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie James and Marie Roberson Morgan; and his brother-in-law Jesse Wall. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Morgan; his son Clay Morgan (Katie) of Las Vegas, NV; his sisters, Carolyn Smith (George Smith) of Hodgensville, KY and Chris Wall of Milledgeville, GA; and his stepchildren, Sherri Johnston (Sam) and Billy Dewayne Clem of Calhoun, LA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner Hospital in Shreveport, LA or to the First Baptist Church of Calhoun, LA.
