She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Wyles and Isabelle Wyles; her husband Edgar "Ed" Powell; her children, B. H. Smith and Mary Ann Huggins; and her siblings, Benny Wyles, Eugene Wyles and Odell Philips.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Smith (Sherry), David Smith and Larry Powell; and her son-in-law Charles "Chum" Huggins. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
