It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilton Leo Johns Sr. of Calhoun, Louisiana, born in Flora, Mississippi, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esters Eli Johns and Velma Corean Johns (Levearn Johns); his daughter Velma Ruth Nelson; and his siblings, Levi Chuck Johns and Bobbie Ruth LeBurn.
He is survived by: his brother Gerald Johns (Karen); and his children, Hilton Johns, Jr. (Margaret), Leola Quimby (David), Mary Ann Meek and Charlene Hibbard. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
