She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Phillips and Gladys Gray Phillips; her stepmother Lilla Hales Phillips; her sister Peggy Phillips Piercy; and her mother-in-law Marjorie McCurry.
She is survived by: her son Chester McCurry; her granddaughter Katie Smith; her brother Kirby; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Phillips and Gay Fryday; her nephew Waylan (Karla Piercy); her daughter Mary Adams; and her close friends, Mike, Kathy Sanford and Edie Lemley.
