She is survived by: her husband Herbert Sherwood Kahl; her children, Cynthia Kahl Hages (Jeffrey), Sheryl Kahl, Jonathan Kahl (Patricia) and Charlotte Kahl Rutan; and her sisters, Dora Watson Pugh (Phillip) and Georgia Watson Murphy (Carroll).
